T'is The Month

I have been working the past few days. Hours that kept me from meetings since Sunday. Tonight I went to one of my favorite discussion meetings in my home town and was very grateful to be there. How cool that the topic was.... well, what month is it?

Gratitude!

There was the usual grumble of those who just have trouble expressing it. There was the sharing of those who used to feel that way and some who still do. But all in all I was feeling gratitude for much of the day as well as much of the month, without even realizing it was 'that month'.
So here is a short gratitude list from me today. It by no means covers everything but I think it is pretty much where I am at as a whole.

Today I am grateful for:

my sobriety and the fellowship and program of AA
for the fact that God is still there for me after all the time I ignored Him
for my children and family
for my health, job, creativite expression, my country and freedom
for never having severely injured or killed myself or anyone while driving drunk
for the roof over my head and the program living here too

I could go on and on, but maybe you can post some of your own gratitude lists here and add to it. I hope you all had a great grateful day, I did!

PEACE
